I just received word this morning that I passed Biblical Hebrew! Praise the Lord. Thanks to all of you who have been diligently praying for me. It is crazy how demanding and difficult the class was for me. I regularly spent at least 20 hours a week on this class (more if there was a test). Not even my upper level biology and chemistry classes in college were as difficult for me as this class was. I have cried often and been incredibly humbled at the struggle it has been. As you can imagine I am absolutely ecstatic that it is finished.
The biggest thank you of all has to go to my wonderful husband Brandon. If not for his sweet words of encouragement I would have definitely quit by the 2nd week! Not only did he encourage me, but he spent numerous hours playing with Eli so that I could trek to the library to study. He also put up with many boring evenings as he watched me study. He expressed it well the other day when he said, “Yeah now I have my wife back.” I have been a student our entire marriage so we are both really looking forward to this new season! This Friday I look forward to closing another season of my life as I graduate. For now we are all dancing and saying “Yipee mommy passed!!!!”
Yay! Woo-hoo!! Open a bottle of sparkling grape juice!!! Start singing!!
Schooooooool’s out for-ever!!!
No more homework, no more books… No more Hebrew with too much work!!!
Sorry… I am so happy for you Amanda!
Yay! That is an incredible accomplishment. 🙂 Rejoicing with you that it is OVER! I suppose you aren’t going to volunteer to be my Hebrew tutor when/if I take that class? Oh, well. 🙂
No I won’t tutor you in Hebrew but I would in Greek! Greek is absolutely wonderful-you should definitely take it. Hebrew well everyone knows how I feel about that. 🙂
Yes, sparkling grape juice… OR there are companies that sell grape juice that would make a quality wine but unfermented. Never knew about it, but now I live in Provo where it’s really easy to find. Anyhow, congratulations! I think Hebrew would be a very enriching thing to study, although quite challenging.
