Clothespin Drop

5 Mar

To make you will need a plastic bottle (a 2 liter works best), fabric scrap or paper towel, duck tape, and old-fashioned clothespins (these don't have any metal). I found the clothespins at our local hardware store.

Cut out a portion of the bottle so that little hands can reach in and get the clothespins after they are dropped in. I placed scrap felt around the edges (a paper towel works too) and then ducked tape the edges so they were not sharp.

Look at that skill. I was super impressed at how good Eli was at this. Wish I had thought to do it sooner.

After a couple of minutes playing Eli realized it worked even better if he held the bottle. It is also easier if the bottle is angled to your child. 🙂
