Menu Plan Jan. 31-Feb. 6

This week I will be baking a turkey so you will see lots of turkey on our menu this week.  🙂  We will also be trying out a couple of new recipes including Hoppin’ John and Creamed Chicken with Popovers.  If they are a success I”m sure you will see them next week.  It will be a busy week with lots of Hebrew studying for me.  We are also looking forward to my sister coming this weekend to study for the ACT.  I hope she likes turkey! 🙂   

Monday:

Breakfast- Pumpkin Muffins (using raisins instead of chocolate chips), Fruit

Lunch- Out with Elijah (Monday is my day to run errands in the morning)

Dinner-Small Group: Bake Herb Bread or Italian Bread to take with us.  We attend a small group every other week and share a meal together. 

To do: Make Herb Bread

Tuesday:

Breakfast: Kefir Smoothies and Pumpkin Muffins

Lunch: Mock Olive Garden Zuppa Soup with Herb Bread

Dinner: Turkey, Broccoli, Fried Cabbage, and Bread

To Do: Soak Blackeyd Peas, Feed Sydney the Sourdough

Wednesday:

Breakfast: Peach Pancakes and Eggs

Lunch: Santa Fe Turkey, 7 Layer Salad

Dinner: Spicy Hoppin’ John with Cornbread

To Do: Make Homemade Yogurt and Kefir

Thursday:

Breakfast: Omelets and Toast

Lunch: Turkey Salad, Fruit

Dinner: Creamed Chicken, Broccoli and Popovers (I’ve never made popovers so we’ll see how these turn out) 😉

Friday:

Breakfast: Homemade Yogurt with Granola and Blueberries

Lunch: Poppy Seed Turkey Casserole, Salad

Dinner: Turkey Corn Soup, Turkey Melts, Salad

Bake Dessert-I try to bake one dessert each week for the hubby.  Not sure what it will be this week.  Probably cheesecake since cream cheese was on sale last week.  I usually look at what we have on hand and just make something from that.   I usually make dessert on the weekend after we have ate lots of veggies all week long. 🙂 

Saturday:

Breakfast: Apple Omelets

Lunch: Turkey Mixed Veggie Casserole

Dinner: Spinach Fritatta and Corn Soup

Sunday:

Breakfast: Waffles, Sausage, Fruit

Lunch: Favorite Fish, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes.

Dinner: Crockpot Chili Spaghetti
